This rare and hard to find Gerber Mark II Dive was manufactured by Gerber back in 1973-1974 time period in very limited quantities. This knife features the original yellow armorhide handle, partial serrated blade and inch graduations etched in the blade by Gerber. The yellow handle, pommel and hilt are in excellent to mint condition with only some slight dirt spots on the yellow paint as seen in the picture, no chips or scratches on the painted surfaces. The blade appears to be unused but there are signs that someone used a sharpening steel or stone on the blade as there are some surface scratches / scuffing evident. No pitting and the blade is full. The sheath has been died black and cut down as shown but all stitching is tight. Very rare and hard to find in any condition as most were extensively used / abused or now rest at the bottom of some lake or ocean.
NOTE: Gerber Mark II's have become a highly prized investment and continue to appreciate in value and are in demand by many collectors both foreign and domestic.
